The Sanctuary is located in Sar and is at the heart of the BSPCA's animal protection efforts. It houses dogs and cats as well as donkeys and occasionally sheep, birds and other animals. On average the sanctuary receives at least 70 new animals per month. The majority of these animals are either stray, injured or sick while some have sadly been abandoned by their owners.
